DOWN & DIRTY PICTURES
TEG is Executive Producing a feature film adaptation of "Down and Dirty Pictures," the bestselling Hollywood expose about the rise of independent film in the 1990s. The film is currently in pre-production. Ken Bowser ("Easy Riders, Raging Bulls") will be directing a screenplay by Dean Craig ("Death at a Funeral") and Joshua James, and the film features an ensemble cast headed by Vincent D'Onofrio, and Andy Serkis, Toby Jones, and Matthew Perry.
A RAISIN IN THE SUN
TEG was a lead producer of the critically-acclaimed first Broadway revival
of "A Raisin In The Sun," starring Sean "P. Diddy" Combs. "A Raisin In The Sun" won 2
Tony Awards including a historic win for Phylicia Rashad as the first
African-American to win Best Actress. The show also set records at the box
office and is credited with bringing a new, multi-ethnic, all-ages audience
to Broadway.
MEL BROOKS' THE PRODUCERS
TEG was a Limited Partner in Mel Brooks' smash-hit Broadway musical "The Producers," which set box office records and won a record 12 Tony Awards including Best Musical.
MEL BROOKS' YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN
TEG is a Limited Partner in Mel Brooks' Broadway musical "Young Frankenstein," based on his classic 1974 comedy film. The show ran on Broadway from November 2007 to January 2009, and is currently on tour. Tickets available now!
FISCHERSPOONER FEATURING THE WOOSTER GROUP
In 2008, TEG produced a theatrical collaboration between electropop/performance artists Fischerspooner and avant-garde theatre collective The Wooster Group (founded by Willem Dafoe, Spalding Gray, and others) that launched the Sao Paulo Art Bienal.
